Four Concept of Political Socialization

Political Acceptance
Political Communication

Political socialization is a process of influence a person individual in the context of the introduction of the political system which then determines the properties and political perceptions and reactions to political phenomena.
Political participation is the involvement of individuals through the various levels within the political system.

Political Acceptance is the process whereby individuals or register to guarantee a position.

Political Communication is the process whereby the relevant political information transmitted from one part of the political system to the other and between the social system with political systems

Talking about the system, political system is determined from 4 kinds of variables, namely:

  1. Power, as a means to achieve goals
  2. Interests, is as a goal pursued by the perpetrator
  3. Wise to, is the result of interaction between the powers and interests, usually in the form of legislation.
  4. Political culture, this subjective orientation of the individual against the political system.
Political socialization is the key principal of Political Sociology, the three concepts of participation of political and political communication closely relates to political socialization, participation and political communication is a partial variables of socialization and communication.

Shows the interdependence of political socialization and interaction showing the interdependence of social sciences in general, especially sociology and political science.

SOCIOLOGY IS A SCIENCE OF LEARNING COMMUNITY INTERACTION WITH THE COMMUNITY, THE INDIVIDUAL INTERACTION WITH SOCIETY AND INTERACTION BETWEEN THE INDIVIDUAL WITH THE COMMUNITY.

POLITICS IS THE POLICY OR PRACTICES.

MUTUAL RELATIONSHIP, MUTUAL RELIANCE, IS THE MEANING OF INTERDEPENDENCE



Political socialization is very effective when supported by sociology and political science, while political scientists are very less attention to political socialization.

3 Definitions of socialization:
  • The patterns of social action or aspects of behavior are embedded in individuals, skills, motives and attitudes in behavior.
  • The whole process of individuals who were born on the range of potential behavior for aspektualnya elicits behavior that become habits.
  • Socialization is the communication with and learned from other humans.
From some of these definitions that socialization is the process of learning from experience or patterns of action and provide a general indication of the learning outcomes of individual behavior within broad limits. Socialization does not need to be limited by age, whether children or elderly age, but must be done throughout life.
